Chenshayang Huang

Chenshayang Huang, is a Collaborative and Solo Pianist from China where she graduated from Hangzhou Normal University. She went to Boston University in 2013 and transferred to Longy in the fall of 2014. During her undergraduate, she played for opera productions and collaborated with instrumentalists. At BU,she became a member of "Arensky Piano Trio", "Mendelssohn Piano trio" and several other groups. At Longy, she is a Collaborative Piano major who has received high praises and high quality performances, including Schumann’s Frauenliebe und-leben and Argento’s From the Dairy of Virginia Woolf; Gounod’s Faust with Boston opera collaborative (rehearsal pianist); Dvorak’s “Dumky” trio; Brahms songs and violin sonata, etc. Chenshayang also works with GroupMuse in the New England area and gave the three concerts in South Boston last year. She completed the MM in collaborative piano with Robert Merfeld in May, 2016. She is currently pursuing her DMA in collaborative piano at the University of North Texas under the direction of Dr. Harlos and Dr. Puccinelli.
