on Russian Lyric Diction and Vocal Literature
Professor Kenneth Griffiths will give a three day residency on Russian lyric diction and vocal literature.
All classes are open to all UNT students, faculty and staff.
The Tuesday 4pm and Thursday 7pm masterclasses are free and open to the public.
Alumni and community members are very welcome to attend the diction classes. Please email Elvia Puccinelli at firstname.lastname@example.org by October 15 to guarantee an available space. The cost of the classes is $10 per diction class or $25 for all three (cash or check only); all funds will benefit UNT’s Food Pantry.
This residency is jointly sponsored by Collaborative Piano, Vocal Studies and the Dean’s office.

4pm–6pm – Russian Art Song Masterclass (Voertman Hall)
Wednesday, Oct 19

Thursday, Oct 20
9am–11am – Diction* (III) (Voertman)
11am–1pm – Masterclass: Songs of Robert Schumann (Voertman)
7pm–9pm – Russian aria masterclass (Voertman)
*The diction classes are progressive and will build on each other. Excused absences will be offered for UNT students who attend all three classes; please email Carol Wilson at email@example.com to be added to this list. In the event that you must miss a class, excused absence will not be possible, but a video recording of the session will be available for immediate one time viewing before the next class.
