Sallie Pollack

Dr. Sallie Pollack performs nationally and internationally as soloist and collaborator and is Associate Professor of Collaborative Piano and Piano Division Chair at the University of Central Oklahoma.  She received a Fulbright Scholarship for study at the Royal Conservatory of Belgium and has performed in Carnegie Hall, toured with the Texas Boys Choir, coached for the Mons Conservatoire Opera Theatre, Bavarian Theatre-Hof, Illinois Opera Theatre, TCU Opera Theatre, University of Nevada Opera Theatre and UCO Opera Theatre.  Dr. Pollack has been a pianist for College Music Society regional and national conventions, National Flute Association, North Carolina Summer Institute for Choral Arts, American Choral Directors Association, Music Teachers National Association, BrightMusic, Suzuki WOW Institute, OU Clarinet Symposium and ClarinetFest.  She has performed with Phil Smith, Renee Siebert, Charles Castleman, Alexa Still, Talea Ensemble, Lucy Shelton, ClaviVoce, Richard Nunemaker, Jonathon Holden, Tom Shelton, Paul Salumonovich and Amy Porter, among others.  Dr. Pollack is a recipient of the UCO Vanderford Initiative Award which honors excellence in Transformative Learning and holds degrees from Texas Christian University, The Royal Conservatory of Belgium, University of Illinois, and Manhattan School of Music.
